Arrival
The nearest public transport stops are located on Takahuhdintie and Kissanmaankatu, as well as at the Hakametsä tram stop. All low-floor buses and trams operated by Nysse (Tampere Regional Transport) are accessible to wheelchair users.

Tram (Line 3): The nearest accessible stop is Hakametsä. Boarding the trams is completely level-access, and the vehicles are equipped with electric ramps and designated spaces for wheelchairs.
Buses: The nearest bus stops are located on Takahuhdintie and Kissanmaankatu. Nysse bus services use low-floor buses featuring a mechanical accessible ramp at the middle door, operated with driver assistance.
Parking
Paid parking is available in the arena’s parking area during the event. There are four accessible parking spaces located directly in front of the arena, near the main entrance (Doors BC).
Main Entrance
The event entrance is through the ice stadium’s BC doors, which have a threshold of a few centimeters.
Indoor
The arena can be navigated without obstruction via the concourse located behind the seating areas. Apart from separate wheelchair platforms at the C and D ends, the seating areas have a relatively steep profile. Step heights in the seating areas vary, with the highest steps measuring 28–30 cm. Handrails are present in only a few locations.
Seating Areas
Wheelchair spaces are located on the seating platforms at the C and D ends of the arena, with step-free access from the arena’s entrance level.
Assistants
The assistant or companion of a spectator who has purchased a wheelchair space may sit on a separate chair in the immediate vicinity of the wheelchair space.
Induction Loop
There is no induction loop in the hall.
Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are located at the ends of stands C and D. There is one accessible restroom at each end.
Emergency Exits
There are several separate emergency exits along the hall corridors at the ends of the arena containing stands C and D.

Kauppi Sports Center

Arrival
The nearest tram stop is TAYS B (tram line 1), from which a gentle, paved path for pedestrians leads to Kauppi Sports Center.
Parking
Two accessible parking spaces are located right next to the main entrance.
Main Entrance
The main entrance to Kauppi Sports Center is fully accessible and equipped with automatic doors.
Interior
An accessible elevator is located on the entrance level, providing easy access to the other floors. The elevator door width is 1 meter.
Seating areas
Wheelchair spaces are located at floor level at the end of Stand C. There is a threshold approximately 2 cm high at the glass doors leading to the wheelchair spaces on the floor level.
There are stairs leading from the field level to the main stand; however, these can be avoided by taking the elevator to the second floor and proceeding to the seating area with the assistance of staff. The height of the steps in the stand is approximately 20 cm. There is a handrail on every other step.
Assistants
The assistant or companion of a spectator who has purchased a wheelchair space may sit on a separate chair in the immediate vicinity of the wheelchair space.

Restrooms
Two accessible restrooms are located in the elevator lobby. Access to the elevator lobby is via the main lobby. The height of the washbasin from the floor is approximately 87 cm.

Nokia Arena

Arrival
Drop-off traffic and accessible taxis can bring customers to Sorinkatu, which offers direct, accessible access to the arena.
From Sorinkatu, an elevator (door width approx. 92 cm) provides access to the arena level, where the main entrances A and B, as well as the accessible entrance located between them, are situated. The total distance from Sorinkatu to the accessible entrance is approximately 100 meters.
Parking
There are three free accessible parking spaces on Sorinkatu.
Paid accessible parking spaces are available in the Aimo Park Arena parking garage, which offers elevator access to the arena level. Please note that the doors leading to the parking garage elevator lobby are not automatic.
Main Entrance
An accessible entrance is prominently located between main doors A and B and is marked with the accessibility symbol. The threshold at the entrance is approximately 1.5 cm high. A tactile map is located right by the accessible entrance, in front of the elevators. A tactile guiding strip runs along the floor.
Interior
All levels of the arena are accessible via elevators. The elevator doors are 1 meter wide.
Seating Areas
The arena has a total of 31 wheelchair spaces. They are located in sections A1, A2, B1, and B2 of the lower tier (Level 3).
Row 19 of the lower stand is level with the entrances, meaning you do not need to use the seating area stairs to reach it.
The step height in the lower seating sections is approximately 19 cm, and in the upper sections, it is approximately 20 cm.
Spectators using a rollator have the option, if necessary, to leave a foldable rollator at the seating area entrances (with security officer).
Assistants
Seats for assistants and companions are located immediately behind the wheelchair spaces. Assistants can have a separate chair placed closer to the wheelchair.

Accessible restrooms are located at the rear of the restaurant area in the 1st-floor entrance lobby (1 unit) and on the 3rd floor (4 units) near doors A1, A2, B1, and B2. Restroom 1.020 (1st floor) and restroom 3.004 (3rd floor) are equipped with a ceiling hoist. Customers must bring their own lifting sling.
Sales Points
The height of the sales counter located between doors B1 and B2 on the third floor has been lowered.
