About the Championships
Where will the matches be played?
The tournament venues are Hakametsä Ice Stadium, Kauppi Sports Center and Nokia Arena.
The group stage matches will be played at Hakametsä and Kauppi Sports Center from 5th to 8th December. The quarterfinals, semi-finals, bronze medal match and final will be played at Nokia Arena from 10 th to 13 th December.
A total of 48 matches will be played during the tournament. The full match schedule can be found on the Games -section.
All venues are accessible by public transportation and are located either in downtown Tampere or a short distance from the city center.

When will the Men’s World Floorball Championships 2026 be played?
The Men’s World Floorball Championships will be played in Tampere from 5th to 13th December 2026.
For nine days, fans can look forward to the very best floorball in the world, a true championship atmosphere and the spirit of Free of Limits.

Who are playing at the Championships?
Sixteen teams are competing in the Men’s World Floorball Championships.
The teams have been divided into groups, which are:
Group A: Latvia, Norway, Finland, Switzerland
Group B: Sweden, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic
Group C: Singapore, Slovenia, Thailand, Estonia
Group D: Philippines, Japan, Canada, Denmark

How many teams will play in the World Championships?
A total of 16 teams will play in the Men’s World Floorball Championships.
The teams are divided into four groups, and a total of 48 matches will be played during the tournament.
Are the World Championships suitable for the whole family?
Yes! The World Floorball Championships have been designed as a championship event for the whole family.
Family-friendly features include children’s tickets, the Waterworld Louhi benefit included with children’s tickets, and low-threshold floorball activities during the World Championship tour.
Can I attend the World Championships for just one day?
Yes, you can. The day tickets for the group stage and quarterfinals are a great option for a one-day championship visit. With a day ticket, you can build your own championship day around Finland’s match, an international top-level match or even a full day of floorball.

There, you can check match days, match times and venues, and plan your own championship week.
Can there be changes to the match schedule?
Yes. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to event information.
Please check the championship website and Lippu.fi for the latest information before arriving at the event.
Ticket and Ticket Sales
Where can I purchase a ticket?
You can purchase tickets for the World Floorball Championships from Lippu.fi – the official ticketing partner of the Championship.
Tickets are available at the Lippu.fi online store, through Lippu.fi customer service, or at Lippu.fi retail locations in Finland.
What kind of Tickets are available?
Tickets for the World Floorball Championships are sold as ticket packages.
Tickets for the preliminary round and quarterfinals are sold as Day Passes, which include all matches at a specific venue on that particular match day.
Tickets for the final matches are sold as a weekend package, which includes all matches during the final weekend, from the semifinal matches on December 12 through the bronze and gold medal matches on Sunday, December 13.

What does the Ticket include?
In addition to entry to the venue, your ticket includes the right to travel on Nysse public transport on the match day.
Children’s tickets also include a spa benefit for Waterworld Louhi at Ideapark Lempäälä. The benefit can be used from the moment the ticket is purchased until 31. December 2026.
This means your ticket gets you to the game, around the city and, with a children’s ticket, even into a water adventure!

How to buy Tickets for a Group?
Yes! For Group Sales of more than 10 persons you can reach out to Lippu.fi customer service.
This is a great option for teams, clubs, work groups, school classes and everyone who wants to experience the championships together.
Are the tickets day tickets?
Yes! Tickets for the group stage and quarterfinals are venue-specific day tickets.
A day ticket gives you access to all matches played at that venue on that match day. The final weekend is sold as a weekend ticket package, which includes the semi-finals on Saturday 12th December, and the bronze medal match and the final on Sunday 13th December, at Nokia Arena.
What age group are children’s tickets for?
Children’s tickets are for young championship fans aged 5–15.
The championships have been designed as an event for the whole family, so bring along future players, fans and first-timers alike.
How much do tickets cost?
For Finland’s matches, children’s ticket prices start from €12 and adult tickets from €35. Prices vary depending on the match, venue and seating category. All up-to-date ticket prices can be found in the Tickets -section of the championship website.
There are many ways to be part of the championships, from a one-day experience in the group stage to the excitement of the full final weekend.
Transportation and Venues
Can I get to the World Championship matches by public transportation?
Yes! Match tickets include the right to travel on Nysse public transport on the match day.
That makes your championship day easier: hop onboard, head to the venue and focus on what matters the most; world-class floorball.

Merchandise and side-events
Will there be side events during the World Championships?
Yes! The championship is being built already before December with the World Championship tour around Finland.
The tour will offer low-threshold floorball activities, championship atmosphere and program suitable for the whole family. Side events during the actual tournament week will be announced on the championship website closer to the event.
Does the World Championships have its own mascot?
Yes! The 2026 and 2027 World Floorball Championships have an official fox mascot.
The mascot was created by author and illustrator Mauri Kunnas. It is part of the Free of Limits world championships, where floorball belongs to everyone.
A naming competition for the mascot will also be held so stay tuned!
Where can I buy World Championship fan merchandise?
World Championship and national team fan merchandise can be purchased from the Finnish Floorball Federation’s official fan shop at fanikauppa.salibandy.fi.
The fan shop offers items such as fan shirts, hoodies, accessories and other products perfect for getting into the championship spirit.
