Eerikkilä is the Official Training Center for the Floorball World Championships in Finland

Eerikkilä sport & outdoor resort will serve as the Official Training Center for both the Men’s World Floorball Championship to be held in Tampere this December and the Women’s World Floorball Championship to be held in Turku in 2027.

Eerikkilä will provide teams from different countries with a high-quality environment and excellent services to prepare for the tournaments. This partnership continues the great collaboration established during previous home Championships in Finland and, in particular, the long-standing collaboration between the Finnish Floorball Federation and Eerikkilä. For years, Eerikkilä has served as the home and training center for Finland’s national teams, and it also offers the Championship partners an excellent environment for collaboration.

“For a long time now, the Finnish floorball community has had the pleasure of enjoying the unique setting of Eerikkilä, where wellness, sports, and high-quality events come together. We also want to showcase to a wider audience the memorable events, inspiring encounters, and solutions that support holistic well-being that Eerikkilä offers,” says Kati Voutilainen, Secretary General of the World Floorball Championships.

“It is a matter of honor for us to be part of the Floorball World Championships in Finland and to serve both the athletes and other stakeholders. Together, we can show that the foundation of success is built on well-being and effective cooperation,” continues Petri Jakonen, CEO of Eerikkilä.

Every year, thousands of floorball players train at Eerikkilä, ranging from beginner juniors to top-level international professionals. The Finnish Floorball Federation’s player development program is also held at Eerikkilä.

Finland is set to host the World Championships in consecutive years for the first time in history, with the Men’s World Championships taking place in Tampere in December 2026 and the Women’s World Championships being held in Turku in late 2027.
